Capitol Grounds

Des Moines is home to our beautiful capitol building. It is an iconic stop for any Des Moines photos. It has manicured gardens, golden grasses and buildings, and stairs.... alot of stairs. I love this stop anytime of year but particular great in winter or late fall when it seems the fall colors hold on here more than elsewhere but even without blooms or fall leaves, the building itself is a stunner.
